UKFT Academy: Online production sewing machinist training available now

UKFT has launched a new online training programme for production sewing machinists, in response to demand from the industry, via UKFT Academy.
Employers told us they were struggling to recruit and retain new people into sewing machinist roles so we have developed a structured programme of seven modules, which combines online and practical learning. It has been developed in partnership with leading employers covering the role and value of industrial sewing machinists, industrial sewing methods, quality, efficiency, materials, machines, health & safety, working relationships and employability skills.
The programme content provides online theory classes mixed with practical learning exercises, demonstrated via video, diagrams and guides. The courses include online assessments and certificates are awarded on successful completion.
UKFT members receive a 10% discount for one learner and 20% for a group of five. Contact info@ukft.org for details.
