While the situation is unquestionably difficult for all parts of the supply chain, UKFT is really encouraged that we have already had numerous companies coming to us to ask how they can change their production to meet the national interest by making masks or gowns for medical applications.

Any companies offering support are advised to contact mdcc-contingencyplanning@dhsc.gov.uk as they are collating responses from suppliers on a range of clinical consumables.

In addition, any offers to support manufacturing of non-ventilator equipment can be sent via https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/L5B32S. An update is expected on the gov.uk website shortly.
