The European Apparel and Textile Confederation, EURATEX, has released its latest report on the trade partners for the EU textile and clothing sector for in 2018, outlining the main customer and supplier markets, trade balances and trends in fake and pirated goods. The report highlights that China’s share in EU imports declined further in 2018, mainly in the clothing sector, while the SAARC region (comprising Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) continues to increase.
