We were delighted to welcome members from across the UK fashion and textile industry to our annual Member Reception on 4 June 2026 at the October Gallery in London. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

The evening as a chance to connect, catch up and celebrate the strength of our growing network, from fashion and textile brands, manufacturers and designers through to retailers, educators and innovators.

Adam Mansell, CEO of UKFT, said: “2026 is proving to be challenging and new obstacles to trade appear at an alarming rate. Navigating changing markets, global conflicts, political uncertainty, financial pressure and the growing plethora of global regulation means that working in the sector often feels like playing a very manic game of whack-a-mole.”

He went on to emphasise the support that UKFT provides through its membership, and welcomed more collaboration and conversation within the industry. “To help us make sure we are doing the right things, we really need you to keep talking to us – tell us your successes so we can celebrate them but also tell us of your challenges. We may be a small team but we have a lot of knowledge and a fantastic network all at your disposal.”
