13/08/2024

Sourcing representatives from large UK retailers and brands are invited to join a buying mission to Morocco to Maroc in Mode (MIM) 2024 in Casablanca, Morroco, this November with UKFT and AMITH (the Association Marocaine des Industries du Textile et de l’Habillement).

The event is the premier apparel sourcing exhibition in Africa, showcasing the latest trends and innovations of the Moroccan textile and fashion industry. It will feature over 400 exhibitors offering a diverse array of products, from ready-to-wear apparel and high-end fashion garments to home textiles, denim and technical fabrics. They can produce everything from socks to suits, including yarn, knits, denim, accessories, home textiles, lingerie, sportswear, ready-to-wear, workwear, technical fabrics, home linens and more.

The programme will include:

  • Opportunities to explore Morocco’s textile and apparel landscape
  • Tailored 1:1 meetings with exhibitors
  • The opportunity to meet potential Moroccan partners including creators and designers, manufacturers, machinery, chemicals, innovative technologies and associated services
  • Meetings with industry experts to understand the latest in-market trends.
  • Attend a gala dinner, which will serve as a catalyst for networking. This event will enable participants to connect and forge new relationships, fostering opportunities for future collaboration and partnerships

The event will highlight Morocco’s strategic location, which offers a significant advantage for global buyers, with quick shipping times to Europe and North America. The country’s skilled labour force and robust infrastructure further enhance its appeal as a sourcing destination.

Travel and accommodation will be provided for this sourcing trip for representatives from high street or online retailers and brands, with a turnover of over £15m.
