Participatory Fashion Knowledge Exchange Workshop

Participatory Fashion Knowledge Exchange Workshop
As part of work to research and design a regenerative fashion system, fashion designers, brands and retailers are invited to participate in a half day workshop facilitated by Chris Grantham (Regenovate), where we will share our work and exchange ideas around the future fashion experience. Together, the group will explore what participatory fashion might offer customers in the retail experience through an enhanced sense of place and community, craft and co-creation and the opportunity to transform and renew their relationship with loved fashion items.

Workshop: Exploring novel technologies for extending the life of materials
This research aims to investigate how novel technologies can extend the life of materials in textiles and apparel within the context of localised fabric hubs.
Materials Circularity March 2024

The workshop is open to experts in materials, textiles, apparel design, co-creation, production and repair, from small and medium businesses and industry representatives from textile and apparel/design brands, and/or material start-ups and/or working with the repair of apparel/textile products.
Research study: Drivers and Barriers to Circular Supply Chains for Clothing
This research aims to further understanding of what needs to happen with regards to drivers and barriers to the development of a distributed network of circular supply chains for clothing.

The research is open anyone who is a stakeholder in the clothing supply chain system, including citizens, businesses (e.g. designers, makers, textiles/materials producers, apparel brands, retailers, repairers, upcyclers, reuse platforms, recyclers etc.), governments and NGOs, and research institutions who are actively adopting / helping others to adopt circular economy principles for clothing.
Sustainable Fashion-Apparel Policy Workshop
- When: 2pm on 8 March 2024
- Where: Regenerative Fashion Hub, Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA
Designers and fashion brands, retailers, NGOs, public sector, materials producers and designers, and thought leaders are invited to participate in a workshop to explore government policy on sustainable fashion and clothing. Following a tour of the research showcase you will be involved in a 2 hour interactive workshop led by Policy Connect. The outcomes from this workshop will be made available to the public and to policy makers.
