A deep dive into fashion and textile apprenticeships
The 17th annual National Apprenticeship Week will take place from 5 to 11 February 2024. This week-long event offers an opportunity to celebrate the work of employers and apprentices across the UK, as well as the positive impact apprenticeships can have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
As the Sector Skills Body for fashion and textiles, The UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) is responsible for apprenticeships in our industry. We work with ifATE (Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education) and employer Trailblazer groups to ensure fashion and textile apprenticeships provide the right technical knowledge and practical experience for apprentices to be successful in their immediate job and future career.
To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we will share the work we’ve been doing around apprenticeships this past year and the inspiring stories of fashion and textile apprentices and employers.
