The Department for International Trade (DIT) has launched a new awards scheme to put light on the success of UK SMEs trading internationally. This inaugural edition of the award will take this year and is free to enter. Submissions are now open and will close on Thursday the 23^rd of February 2023, while the winners will be announced mid-April. This is a great opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises trading abroad.

The “Made In the UK, Sold to the World” awards cover a total of 7 sectors, including the creative, manufacturing and consumer goods industries. Senior officials at DIT and Marco Forgione, Director of the Institute of Export & International Trade, will choose a winner from each of the following sectors:

• Manufacturing
• Consumer Goods
• Education
• Creative Industries
• Digital
• Financial and Professional Services
• Agriculture, Food and Drink
