Heimtextil is a world leading trade fair for home and contract textiles, taking place once a year in Frankfurt, Germany. It is the first major event of the year for the industry. As such, it set the tone for the season and the trends to come.

UKFT was pleased to be back at Heimtextil and to oversee the promotion of the 42 UK businesses present on the “British Textiles” stand with the support of the Department for International Trade and the GREAT campaign. This year, the British group at Heimtextil represented the largest UK interior textile presence outside of the UK.

Held at the Frankfurt Messe, a large exhibition centre, the event benefited from ample space for its wide array of textile displays and presentations. The fair featured an impressive selection of styles, materials and techniques, showcased by both established and up-and-coming brands.

Visitors could discover a wide range of products including bed linens, bathroom textiles, upholstery fabrics, window treatments and more. An entire section was dedicated to home décor and accessories, to allow attendees to get a complete overview of the industry’s latest trends.

In addition to the exhibits, several informative seminars and talks took place over the 4-day event. These were the perfect platform for industry experts to share their knowledge and insights on innovations and market developments.
