We had a successful two days promoting the industry last week at Skills Cymru. We especially enjoyed meeting new faces as well as advising students on their potential path in the fashion and textile industry. Held at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on the 19^th and 20^th of October, the career fair brought together the best skills, career and training opportunities that the country has to offer.

This free event was aimed at young people aged 14 to 24 looking for career advice and inspiration, and at their parents. Our team shared local sector and career information plus hands-on industry tasters with visitors. We were also pleased to advertise vacancies shared by local employers and UKFT members on our live job board.

UKFT will attend Skills Scotland in Glasgow, on the 2nd & 3rd of November. Our team will also be promoting the industry at Skills London on the 25^th  & 26^th or November.
