At the hub of London fashion culture on the hip and infamous Brick Lane in east London, Mirjam Rouden Design Studio works hard and fast to produce modern, relevant designs each week.
Mirjam Rouden graduated in 2003 from the world renowned MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins and opened her design studio initially selling works to the Parisian couture houses. Since then, the demographic has expanded on a global level serving the high end luxury and commercial fashion and interiors markets across the world.
Painters at heart, each inspired by historic and modern world textiles, the studio’s diverse and multicultural in-house design team each have something different to inspire. Expect to see an exciting, sophisticated variety of hand-drawn, painted, digitally constructed, collaged, intricate and abstract ideas that pull from the team’s enriched artistic well; intricate paisleys, ornamental prints, tie dye, conversationals, geometrics, checks, stripes, placements, florals, runway, black and white, the list goes on!

Contemporary catwalk reactions and print trend design are always delivered with a twist by designers of highly creative values, thinking only to a forward direction. The team’s work is regularly featured as trend leaders on WGSN.
Alongside digital print collections, unusual and rare, Mirjam has held on to the hand-crafted in her textile studio offering her clients what few else can… Full of lustre and allowing the experimental only the handmade can offer, our so coveted silks painted by hand, hand-dyed and screen-printed are soon snapped up.
The studio boasts an experienced CAD team for technical or creative needs. Handmade silks are provided with a digital copy and digital designs works always in layers for your convenience.
