UKFT Briefing on Russia and Ukraine for members

UKFT has prepared a briefing document to outline some of the implications of UK and EU sanctions on Russia and Belarus following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which is available to UKFT members. For more details on membership read more here or contact info@ukft.org.
The document was published on 29th March and will be updated as the situation develops.
This document looks at the immediate implications of the Russian invasion of Ukraine for exporters of UK fashion and textile products (and other products including footwear, accessories and jewellery). It also looks at the interaction of the UK’s sanctions and bans and those levelled by other countries, including the EU, as these too will have a direct bearing on UK businesses.
