Meet Yvonne Lim, 30, and Shaonan Xu, 26, founders of The Array, the London-based brand dedicated to empowering the contemporary woman.
Yvonne and Shaonan began The Array during their Masters in Fashion program at the Royal College of Art. As their research revolved around the themes of power and femininity, they started questioning how they could genuinely empower women through their design practice.
They were inspired by the evolving landscape of women’s workwear, and the soft power it represented in today’s workplace. Yvonne and Shaonan’s graduate collection was dedicated to the modern working woman, with a capsule of essential garments specifically designed with her in mind, and the brand officially launched in December 2020.
