The UK Fashion & Textiles Association (UKFT) and British Fashion Council (BFC) would like to invite you to a fashion and textile industry forum. The forum will specifically share information and key issues affecting our industry and how these issues have been presented to Government to date, dialogue with Government so far and next steps.
Hosted by Adam Mansell, CEO of UKFT, and Caroline Rush, CEO of BFC, the first meeting of the group will be on 9th March 4.00– 5.00pm. Both organisations give regular updates, advice and seminars to members, and would like to share key issues currently under discussion with Government, and give you clarification on exact points that the industry is facing. We welcome your input and contribution.
Government representatives from the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Department for International Trade and Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) will be there to listen as our main departments within government, and we will invite other representatives from different departments and organisations based on the agenda items.
