UKFT member ApparelTASKER featured on episode ten of the BBC’s The Apprentice as a task host for contestants partaking in a challenge creating a sustainable fashion brand.

With access to a curated selection of repurposed and recycled fabrics, including old tents and other reclaimed materials, the teams had to balance innovation with commercial viability. ApparelTASKER founder Zack Sartor and chief operating officer Alex Gorgan played a key role in guiding their respective teams, giving them insights into the fabrics and available trims. The challenge pushed the candidates to think outside the box and highlighted the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry. Each team had to design and produce a compelling collection that would impress the judges.

London-based manufacturer ApparelTASKER was established in 2015 to offer an ethical and sustainable approach to fashion, while offering high-quality garment production from a convenient East London base.
